Androgenic alopecia- a genetic condition which affects both men and women. In men it is referred to as Male pattern baldness where men can start suffering from the condition as early as their teens it is characterised by a receding hairline with gradual loss in the frontal scalp and crown.
As the definition of androgenic alopecia goes, a thinning crown can usually be an early sign. Keep an eye and if it’s caught early there is the possibility of re-growing this hair by simply using a combination of minoxidil plus and anti-androgen such as the Dense Minoxidil + Finasteride topical spray. If nothing is done this can progressively get worse and the hairs may cease to exist. In this case a hair transplant may be needed.
Getting a transplant will not protect the rest of your hair from loss. Most good hair transplant clinics will advise the use of medications to prevent further hair loss which may require additional transplant surgery and associated cost.
Golden Nugget: You can potentially save thousands by avoiding hair transplant surgery. The key is prevention, the earlier you seek treatment the sooner you can stop hair loss and thicken your crown. Take action by taking the consultation as soon as possible and find out the best treatment to help you get your density back.
