Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is an androgen which is converted from testosterone. On average about 10% of testosterone is converted into DHT. DHT binds to receptors on hair follicles causing Miniaturisation (shrinkage). As a result, the hairs formed by miniaturised follicles are thinner. If untreated normal hair will continue to progressively get thinner leading to complete baldness.

At Dense We understand the importance of controlling DHT and we also understand that there is a growing reluctance in taking DHT blocking tablets to treat hair loss due to the risk of some potentially horrible side effects. Our Expert team has worked hard in developing an extensive range of topical DHT blocking solutions. The DHT blockers are designed to limit the conversion of testosterone to DHT and thereby we can prevent hair loss, stop hair loss and even regrow lost hair. Regardless of where you are in your hair journey, we can get you back on track to a ticker fuller head of hair.

Golden Nugget: DHT is thought to be one of the main causes in male pattern baldness. One of the keys to successfully treating and preventing Male pattern hair loss is to manage and control DHT. Male Pattern hair loss does not occur overnight, there is an extensive process of thinning before complete baldness and this can occur over months or years. As soon as you notice the early signs of thinning such as a receding hairline or thinning crown act fast and prevent further damage, the sooner you start the easier it is to get your hair back to its best Density!
